About Web Design Boutique

This is the web portal for Designer Jane Dalton, and is her online profile and portfolio.

I specialise in Web Design and Development, and I also have extensive experience in Graphic Design, Multmedia and Print.

My Hand Coded Websites adhere to Web Standards, with SEO and analytics built in. They are fully featured and updatable via their own Content Management System control panel.

I am fascinated and truly excited by the web and how infinately rich it is, and love being a small part of it's development and always want to learn more about the wonderful possibilities both technical and creative there are.

I am passionate about Web Standards - and feel that sites should be designed that can be viewed by all, whilist combining the new and powerful technologies and features and finding a creative balance that allows me to create the dazzling, but also means those people out there who haven't got access to the most modern and up-to-date of browsers can still view my work. This is important for so very many reasons - but mostly it's important for the businesses I make sites for, and their customers.

Jane Dalton

I am a graphic designer, a musician, a film and video fan, a bit of a programing code-geek-girl; and in many ways these all come together in Web Design.

For me, Web Design is where so many of my interests and passions can intersect and combine - designing sites is my craft, my fun, and my passion. Helping individuals, organisations and businesses to grow and prosper and achieve their potential is a very powerful and worthwhile vocation in life and one I truly thrive on and enjoy.

I love computers - PCs make me happy, but my iMac is my true love

I also love the iphone - gadgets like these are the future

My full time occupation and passion is Web Design.

Jane's Interests

My other interests and passions (apart from Web Design) include DJing, composing and performing music, and love watching movies new and old.

My main pastime is DJing, and I currently organise, promote and DJ occasional concerts and events at the amazing 53 Degrees, as well as other events around the country.

I am always wanting to develop and grow in life, and I am currently studying Yoga, Wing Chun and Cooking, and hope to become adept at all these as I find them all rich and rewarding.

I love travel, visiting new places and revisting old ones, and being out in the coutryside. Sadly I do not have too many opportunities for either with being so busy, but when I do get the chance it's one of life's true joys

Audio and Visual Experience

Before I became a Web Designer, I was a full time professional Musician and Music tutor. I wrote music and recorded/produced CDs around the turn of the Millenium, and the production and promotion of those is what first drew me into Graphic and Web Design.

Althought no longer engaged as a professional (it's a great life, but one where you tend to spend more money than you earn!!), I do have a fabuous home multimedia studio based around my iMac which can produce music and video. Using Abobe Premiere and the amazing After Effects combined with Flash for video production, and Logic Pro and Reason for music.
